Rahu major planet in vedic astrology bcoz it is a karmic planet. If bad Rahu conjunction with other planets generally forms bad yogas. Even then own house Jupiter /mars/moon failed in giving good results if badly placed with rahu in same houses, Rahu is badly placed on the chart, then some bad yogas formed. I am giving you some combination. I want to tell one more point on yogas, My mean here is yoga’s mean not analyze angarak yoga and Any other yoga`s.Actually main mean of yoga`s in astrology stands here is badly placed conjunction only...
 

1)Rahu+Mars       ****  Angarak yoga bad yoga
2)Rahu+Chandra  **** Pitra dosha/GRAHAN DOSH (pitra dosha when particular house) 

3)Rahu+Jupiter    **** Guruchandal yoga

4)Rahu+Surya      ****   Very bad combination (pitra dosha when particular house)
5)Rahu+Venus      ****   Generally good for matrelastic things but really very bad for some Women related & others point of view....

6) Rahu+Shani       **** Shrapit Yoga if badly placed.

Generally some Astrologer not give weighted to this house because negative bad house.Reason is it is deep dig(Dig mean here GHADDHA) .But I am telling u,PLEASE DIG-IN DIG-IN and DIG-IN(khodo,khodo aur khodo) .Not only dump(kachda) there ,even gold(sona bhi Gaddhe me hi hota hai) is there because if u will go in deep then u can find gold also in same dig.This is house which makes you astrologer,actor for ex: amitabh. Even scientist ,deep studies and research..If your 8 house is active then definitely you will take interest in occult science trying to find out new logic's of astrology,and science related field.Chances of became astrologer also but planets(which planet placed) matters here.As you know,8 house one capable of wrecking the most damage, even death,sex,the occult, dark / hidden side of life, longevity, research, destruction / regeneration of any sort. Through the 8th house we confront our mortality. Today,I am writing about marriage and marriage life & on Marriage
match matching.First of all I want to tell you something.

1)There is no existence of term of mangalik in astrology.This is only
for the money point of view astrologers are using.And only in Indian astrology,Neither in western nor in any other.Why mars effects only on Indian peoples?
2)Give least priority on gun-Milan.
Even I seen lots of chart where nadi is same mean NADI-DOSH & there life is going good,They are enjoying life with children.Why?There is no point to see if nadi same then nadi dosh,here need to check pad also and some other points before declaring nadi dosh.I will explain it later in another article.
So now question is How we should do match making,I am explaining.
What are the points we should find out during match-making.

1)See lagna of both bride and groom bcoz it will give you the idea of
nature of the native .Nature/Common intelligence Mutual Understanding is very important in both charts otherwise adjustment not possible.

2)Stable Career of boy and girl mainly boy.(Professional yug).

3)Financial Conditions on both kundalis.

4)Age of both,very important factor.They will continue together or not at least till Indian common age period.

5)Bond of relationship need to check form 7 house & character.See Lagna and 7 house should be free from bad malefic influence and very badly placed planets in both.

6)Check the position of moon/jup/Venus/mars in both charts.

7)Check 11 house also for socialism point of view ,bcoz if one is too much social and other is opposite then problems will come.

8)Health and Support of each others 6 house.Then come on gun-Milan.

Now come on point of MANGALIK:
Mangal mean mangalya.So it is very important planet for both
girl/boy.It should be match But not as per mangalik point of view.Mean if boy chart mangal is weak then Venus should be strong .My mean to say anyhow it should be balance from other planets,If one`s chart mars is very bad.

Venus for boy Jupiter/moon for girl is very important.

Now a days, One point is most important for worship and remedies. We should know the ISHTA and ATMAKARAK also. ISHTA worship is very important for everyone. If ISHTA dev happy, then many problems sort out. We should always do the pooja of our ISHTA. One more POINT I want to tell here, Pooja of SHIV JI is very good for everyone's Shiv is master key.All planets come into control if you are doing shiv pooja. As we know if your moon is youur ishta then shiv pooja. Kaal-Sarp dosh then shiva pooja (Mahakaleshawar Ujjain)etc....so shiv pooja is very important.ATMAKARAK planet in kundali which have highest degree. It is also a very important planet which has good influence on the chart.How to see ISHTA, Actually in these point astrologers having diffrents-different views. Generally, some are following your moon sign nakshtra lord and some are following 12 houses from ATMAKARAK(In lagna) planet placed in D-9 ,I will discuss this topic in detail very soon. Some other method also there like some astros prefers lord of moon sign for ex:if moon in Pisces then lord vishnu. Another method some follow Nakshatra of the moon for ex: if a moon placed in revati then mercury is ishta, Another is Gemini method, highest degree D-1 planet mean AK planet position in D-9 and 12th from that house will be the Ishta dev. For ex: If a moon had the highest 28 degree in D-1 and in D-9, it is placed in 10th house, then 12th from 10th that mean 9th house will be ishta dev..Here one logic also, Siitting planet is priority if no one is placed in that house, then sign lord if more than 1 planet placed, then highest degree of a planet consider as Ishta dev.........Gemini is more near for this.
