The non-sense in Indian Astrology, Why I am telling non-sense in Indian astrology because these type's concepts only present in India like mangal dosh and all. Astros making fool to innocent peoples. Sachin Tendulkar has this yoga then how he became god of cricket? Even in classical it is not available. I will explain how this combination becomes sometime very bad in the chart and sometimes good also. These two are extremely malefic in all 9; everyone will be agreeing with this fact. And when they hold corner position (as a guard, no one can cross the boundary) then they can dominate other planets and its good/benefic impacts. Result is a struggle in life. Let me put some more light here on this burning or most talked astrological topic. What is Kaal-Sarpa Dosh:
When in a Horoscope, all other seven planets are placed in between Rahu & Ketu, it is stated to be the presence of ‘Kaal-sarpa yoga’ in the chart. Rahu is considered serpent’s head and Ketu is a dragon’s tail.

Fact of Rahu-Ketu and Kaal-Sarpa Dosha:
As I told many times rahu-ketu powerful shadow in kaliyug , so here need to understand how this combination(I will not tell kal-sarpa yoga only combination) effects in the horoscope. Rahu & Ketu shadowy planets, these are only reference points created because of intersection of Sun by Moon’s revolution around the Earth.( (Ascending or Descending nodes).


Explanation from my experience:
Rahu-ketu is most malefic planets as we know the story samudra-manthan. They cheated and have wrong tendency in nature. For more information read below article:

As I told it is most malefic, From one example I will explain you: If only two sides are available for exit and in both sides most malefic is present as guard then what will be the results? Everyone will be on trouble and losing its own strength. It has been stated in some texts that the positive effects of all other planets, when these are placed in one side of Rahu & Ketu, get nullified. But here need to check all conditions very carefully then come on conclusion these combination will effects our life or not.Some conditions I am mentioning given below:

1) Firstly check power of Rahu-Ketu very carefully.
With respect of: sign/strength/degree/aspect/conjunction/nakhatra/divisional charts etc:

2) Very important point check bhav-chalit chart because in many times in bhav chart other planets breaks semi-circle of Rahu-Ketu

3) If these two planet weak in strength then no need to fear of this combinations.

4) If inside planets are more powerful and making good yoga’s then Rahu-Ketu effects will nullify or reduce.

5) Check D-9 chart and mahadasha and anterdasha of planets.

6) If Jupiter is very strong in the chart an free form any affliction then it will reduce bad effects of rahu-ketu.


Every planet is to be considered individually in relation to its placement, nakshatra, exchange, aspect. Divisional charts, dasha, transits, etc. are also to be examined in a scientific manner for purposeful assessment of the chart. The native born in this combination of planets have been seen to be very successful, the world over like Nehru, Dhirubhai.
So conclusion is no need to fear for this combination. For relief, you can do puja by yourself of the lord Shiva & if you can avail the visit of mahakaleshwar Ujjain then go and do puja by yourself only, no need to spend money for shanti and all.

This person can also become a very good software engineer, lawyer, accountant & entrepreneur. They can easily and quickly adapt to new situations .These people think logically with very calculated moves in every aspect of their life. Even in marriage they finding rich/affluent family of spouse. This placement gives very good mathematical ability. Business is also good for those who have well placed mercury in 1st house.

2. Mercury in 2nd house - Second house Mercury makes a businessman but only looking money in every work(may be business or job).Person will be Money oriented.
